Job summary

School District No. 91 (Nechako Lakes) is seeking applications for Casual Bus Drivers to support student transportation in the Fraser Lake area. This is a casual position with no guaranteed hours.

The successful candidate will operate school buses on regular routes, transport students on curricular and extra-curricular trips, perform daily inspections, and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff. A BC Class 2 license with air brake endorsement and First Aid/CPR are required.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate).
• Valid BC Class 2 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record.
• Valid First Aid Certificate and CPR training.
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.
• Defensive driving training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of successful experience operating Class 2 or higher vehicles in all seasons.

Responsibilities
