Job description

Homewood Health is actively seeking registered mental health professionals interested in providing in-person services on an occasional, contract basis for our Homewood Health Enhanced Mental Health Care Program in Fort McMurray, AB.

What You'll Be Doing

• Utilize solution-focused, CBT, and DBT approaches to provide treatment focused on depression, anxiety, trauma, or substance use concerns.
• Develop treatment plans and monitor client progress throughout treatment using our Measurement-Based Care platform.
• Adhere to professional standards and best practices.
• Engage in clinical consultation with the clinical management team as required.

What We're Looking For

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Registration or clinical membership with the relevant governing body with the ability to deliver Psychotherapy services in your province of practice.
• 3 to 5 years of clinical counselling experience post-Master’s degree.
• Experience in Trauma/PTSD counselling, including working with First Responder populations, is a strong asset.
• Specialized training and/or experience working with First Responder populations is a strong asset.
• Professional liability insurance coverage of $2,000,000 or as otherwise determined by Homewood Health.
• Proficiency in providing counselling services in either English or French is required.
• Ability to use Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook).
