Job summary

Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment Partnership (MLSE) is seeking an experienced catering professional to deliver championship fan service at corporate and social events at our venues in Toronto. You will oversee events, organize setup and seating, and coordinate with kitchen and clients to ensure smooth service.

The role requires 2+ years in catering/event environments, Smart Serve certification, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of event/catering/banquet experience.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Smart Serve certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of restaurant principles and service etiquette.
• Excellent organizational and team management abilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with food and wine.
• POS familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Oversee catering events and a la carte service as needed.
• Prepare setup outlines, production sheets, and seating plans.
• Lead staff and assign sections during service.
• Ensure issues are resolved calmly and professionally.
• Produce post-event evaluation reports and financial data entry.
• Attend BEO meetings and follow change log updates.
• Coach and train staff; assist with performance reviews.
• Adhere to MLSE service standards and safety policies.
• Perform other duties as required.
