Job summary

Dexterra is seeking a dynamic Catering Manager to lead sales initiatives in the catering and events market. You will drive revenue growth, build strong client relationships, and manage a high-performing catering team to deliver innovative event solutions.

Responsibilities include developing sales strategies, coordinating with the catering team, and using Cater Trax to track leads and conversions. Must have 3+ years in sales for catering/events and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of proven sales experience in outdoor catering or events management.
• Valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Experience building relationships with corporate clients and event planners.

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Catering Manager to join us. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned sales professional to lead our sales initiatives in the competitive catering and events market. You will be responsible for driving revenue growth, building strong client relationships, and managing a high-performing catering team while delivering innovative event solutions tailored to our clients' needs.

• Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share in the catering &events sector
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, event planners, and key decision-makers to ensure repeat business and client satisfaction
• Lead, mentor, and manage the event team, providing guidance on sales techniques, client engagement, and performance optimization
• Prepare detailed proposals, quotations, and contracts for both internal & outdoor catering and events services, ensuring accuracy and alignment with client requirements
• Coordinate with the Food Services Director, Kitchen Manager & Catering teamto ensure seamless event execution and client satisfaction
• Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market opportunities to identify growth potential and inform strategic decisions
• Manage sales and forecasts, utilizing Cater Trax event software totrack leads, conversions, and client interactions
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and service agreements with clients while maintaining profitability and company standards
• Prepare regular sales reports and performance metrics for management review and strategic planning.

• Minimum 3years of proven sales experience in outdoor catering, events management, or related hospitality industry
• Demonstrated track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets and revenue goals.
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and access to a reliable vehicle.
