Location

We are seeking a Catering Captain for the St. John's Convention Centre, located in St. John's, NFLD.

Principle Function

The Catering Captain at Sodexo Live oversees the on-site execution of catered events, acting as the lead for the catering team and ensuring all aspects of service meet client and company standards. This role involves directing staff, managing timelines, and maintaining communication between team members to provide seamless and professional service. The Catering Captain ensures that events run smoothly, with an emphasis on guest satisfaction and operational efficiency. As a hands-on leader, the Catering Captain works closely with the Catering Supervisor and event coordinators to ensure all logistics, from setup to breakdown, are executed flawlessly. This position demands a detail-oriented, proactive individual who can adapt quickly to changes and maintain a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
