Job Title: Category Sales Development Analyst

What to Expect

This role involves developing and executing strategic food and retail plans for Nestlé Professional, integrating marketing and sales efforts to promote brand strategy by channel, and commercializing demand-generating initiatives.

A Day in the Life

  1. Develop and implement comprehensive Go-To-Market (GTM) and channel plans aligned with business strategy.
  2. Facilitate the annual sales forecasting process with accuracy and timeliness.
  3. Provide insights and recommendations to marketing and sales teams regarding category management and customer engagement.
  4. Collaborate with third-party brokers and business units to align category strategies with sales objectives.
  5. Create fact-based selling stories using relevant data to identify underperformance and growth opportunities.
  6. Offer rationale and insights for future opportunities.
  7. Support the creation of category and sales execution roadmaps, from inception to execution.
  8. Contribute to Strategic Revenue Management initiatives to enhance revenue potential.
  9. Conduct analyses of business performance, trends, and customer insights to inform strategic decisions.
  10. Provide recommendations on pricing, portfolio, and channel performance improvements.
  11. Adhere to all company policies, principles, and compliance standards.

Role Requirements

  • 2-3 years of sales and analytical experience in the CPG or Food Service industry.
  • Strong project, time management, and communication skills.
  • Experience with Business Intelligence tools: MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Access, Power BI.
  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration focusing on Sales, Marketing, or Finance.
  • Excellent presentation skills, with experience presenting to internal teams or retail partners.
  • Experience as a vendor advisor or in a customer-facing role is a plus.
