About the position

We are seeking a Casualty Claims Adjuster, Homeowner Liability to join our growing team in the West! In this role, you will investigate and settle routine and moderately complex casualty and liability claims, providing quality service and ensuring prompt and equitable settlements in line with company policies and standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze and interpret insurance policy wording to determine coverage and assess entitlements fairly and equitably.
• Communicate promptly and respectfully with customers, claimants, lawyers, and insurers to settle claims and report findings.
• Conduct investigations, including obtaining reports and statements, and identify additional information needed to clarify or justify claims.
• Ensure all cases are well documented and comply with legislative requirements.
• Provide excellent customer service and respond to queries related to claims.

Qualifications:

• College diploma, university degree, or equivalent education and experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of adjusting experience.
• Ability to handle or oversee moderate to complex claims.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, and time management skills.
• Friendly, positive attitude, and excellent customer service skills.

Salary Range: $68,700.00 - $103,100.00, based on experience, skills, contribution, internal equity, autonomy, performance, and location.
