Job summary

Near North District School Board is seeking a Casual Student Supervisor at Phelps Public School to supervise students during nutrition breaks and ensure safety and orderly conduct during school hours.

The position is effective immediately and requires a completion of a Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector, plus eligibility to work in Canada. The role is on-site with a flexible casual schedule.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education.
• Experience in a school/classroom setting preferred.
• First Aid Certification is considered an asset.

The Near North District School Board is hiring!

Casual Student Supervisor

Effective Immediately

Location: Phelps Public School

The successful candidate will be supervising students during the school's nutrition breaks from 10:50 AM to 11:30 AM and 1:30 PM to 2:10 PM daily.

Qualifications

• Minimum Grade 12 education
• Experience in a school/classroom setting is preferred

Skills Required

• Demonstrated ability to work with students in a positive and effective manner
• Proven ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively as a member of a school-based team
• Excellent communication skills
• First Aid Certification is considered an asset.

Rate of Pay: $17.60/hour plus 4% vacation pay and any applicable statutory holiday pay

As a condition of employment, a current (completed within previous 6 months)

Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector is required.
