Based in Stratford, Ontario, the Stratford Festival is one of the world’s foremost repertory theatre companies. It operates year-round, presenting a season of about a dozen plays each year between the months of April and November, a rich stream of digital content and hundreds of events designed to deepen understanding of the plays. This position reports to the Facilities management team and is part of the Facilities team. This position is a casual coverage position for Stage Door Security Guard’s vacation and sick time and there is no guarantee of hours.
Function:
To monitor building security and respond to emergencies or urgent situations as required at the Stratford Festival buildings. This may include properties owned, leased or rented. To perform regular security tours of the building and grounds. Duties and responsibilities shall include but not be limited to the job description and within the Facilities Department.

Preference will be given to candidates with previous experience in security. The successful candidate will be required to complete various on-site training.
This casual unionized position is located in Stratford, Ontario and will begin immediately. Candidates must be available to work rotating twelve-hour shifts and must be available evenings and weekends (including holidays).
