Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• ABSA Class 5 Power Engineer or higher is an asset.
• First Aid and WHMIS certificates required.
• Fire extinguisher use training is expected.
• Ladder Safety and Fall Protection training desired.
• Hydraulic Ladder Training (Mobile Aerial Work Platform) asset.
• Confined Space Entry and Rescue Training a plus.
• 1+ year caretaker experience is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain a safe, clean environment for the school and community.
• Work under supervision of Head Caretaker and Maintenance Supervisor.
• Perform cleaning and general maintenance tasks to a high standard.
• Physically capable of performing duties with supervision as needed.
