Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate).
• Valid BC Class 2 Driver’s License with air brake endorsement and a clean driving record.
• First Aid Certificate and CPR training.
• WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety procedures.
• Defensive driving training or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of successful experience operating Class 2 or higher vehicles in all seasons.

Responsibilities

• Operate school buses on regular and scheduled routes.
• Transport students for curricular and extra-curricular trips.
• Conduct daily inspections and preventative maintenance checks.
• Maintain positive communication with students, parents, and school staff.
