Job summary

Groves Memorial Community Hospital in Fergus, Ontario, is seeking a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) for the OBS/Surgical Inpatient unit on a casual basis. The position is unionized with UNIFOR, Local 1106, and requires current registration with the Ontario College of Nurses.

Shifts include day, evening and night per department schedule. The salary range is CAD 37.69–39.17 per hour, with a commitment to a respectful, inclusive workplace and rigorous pre-employment checks.

Qualifications

• Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
• Maternal Child/Post Partum course preferred
• Breastfeeding Course preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) preferred
• BCLS Certification required
• IV course and IV Med Administration – mandatory within 3 months of hire
• Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
• Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting

• Satisfactory performance and attendance required
