Fraser Health is seeking a Casual Rehabilitation Assistant to join the Rehab team at Delta Hospital in Delta, BC. The role reports to the interprofessional care team and works with PT/OT under established care plans to support patient progress.

Responsibilities include assisting with mobility, activities of daily living, and carrying out treatment components; you will observe changes, communicate with the team, and participate in plan modifications as needed.

Formación

• Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to perform the duties of the position.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out components of a rehabilitation treatment plan under PT/OT guidance.
• Assist with mobility and activities of daily living as directed.
• Observe and report cognitive and functional changes to the team.
• Contribute to planning and evaluation of the treatment plan.
• Operate equipment and document data for health records.
