Fraser Health Authority is seeking a Rehabilitation Assistant to support residents with rehabilitative activities under supervision. You will assist with mobility, transfers, and daily living tasks, and help set up equipment for therapy sessions in a hospital or care setting.

Formación

• Completion of a Rehabilitation Assistant Program or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to assist residents with mobility, transfers and activities of daily living.

Responsabilidades

• Assist residents with rehabilitative activities such as mobility and strengthening exercises.
• Demonstrate use of prescribed treatment/adaptive devices.
• Assist with dressing, toileting, transfers and positioning as directed.
• Transport residents to and from treatment areas using wheelchairs or stretchers.
• Report observations to therapists/nurses and communicate concerns about residents.
• Set up and maintain furnishings and equipment for activities and keep equipment clean.
