Job summary

Alberta Health Services is seeking Registered Nurses to provide a broad range of nursing services across acute and continuing care settings in Hardisty, AB. You will apply nursing processes, exercise clinical judgment, and advocate for patients and families while prioritizing safety and quality.

Provisional permit holders earn $40.76 to $55.79 per hour; full practice permits lead to the applicable UNA wage rate.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing education program.
• Active or eligible for registration and practice permit with the CRNA.
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider certification.
• If not practiced in the past five years, complete CRNA Medication Management modules before employment.
• Complete NextGenU Health Assessment Resources Certification if required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of nursing services to patients, families and communities.
• Use nursing processes with critical thinking, problem solving and decision making.
• Teach, counsel and advocate for patients and families.
• Provide safe, quality, patient- and family-centred care while aligning with AHS values.
• Support an integrated, holistic approach to patient care and health promotion.
