Thrive Child Development Centre in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario is seeking a Casual Preschool Cook (Culinarian) to plan, prepare, and provide nutritious snacks and noon meals for children with varied dietary needs.

You will follow standard recipes and ensure portions meet menu requirements in a caring, on-call capacity. We value teamwork and safety; CPR/First Aid certification is required, and immunization records as per policy.

Formación

• Secondary school diploma (grade 12) required.
• Certificate in Food Handling Practices required.
• Experience cooking for small groups of children is an asset.
• CPR/First Aid certification required.
• Immunization records as per policy.
• COVID-19 vaccination required.
• Willing to work flexible hours.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, prepare and provide nutritious snacks and noon meals for children.
• Maintain high standards of quality food production and portion control.
• Follow standard recipes and ensure quantities meet menu requirements.
• Organize kitchen and procurement of groceries.
• Lift and move groceries and equipment as needed.
