Job summary

Children’s Village of Ottawa-Carleton is seeking an experienced Cook to manage the centre’s kitchen operations and prepare nutritious meals in accordance with health guidelines. You will plan menus, purchase groceries, and ensure safe food handling while supporting daily operations and interactions with children and families.

The role requires a Diploma in Culinary Arts, a valid Food Handlers Certificate, and at least two years of cooking experience, preferably in a childcare setting.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Culinary Arts required.
• Valid Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a cook in a childcare setting preferred.
