Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate resident care in our Ontario-based communities. You will follow care plans, support daily activities, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment for residents, families, and staff.

Ideal candidates have a PSW certificate/diploma, pass vocational standards, and demonstrate sanitation and bedside care knowledge. Competitive salary and benefits accompany meaningful, Team-focused work.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents.
• Must understand the basics of good sanitation and cleaning techniques and be knowledgeable with respect to the needs of geriatric residents.

Responsibilities

• Attends in-service education sessions, staff meetings, and workshops as directed.

Salary

Salary: $24.75 per hour

Salary placement based on qualifications and experience.
