Job summary

AgeCare Ltd. is seeking a Personal Support Worker (PSW) to provide compassionate care to residents according to their care plans, while helping identify resident needs and maintaining a safe environment for residents, families, and staff.

This role emphasizes teamwork, ongoing learning, and adherence to infection prevention standards. You will monitor and document care activities, participate in training, and support onboarding of new staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Personal Support Worker Certificate/Diploma Program.
• Meet the vocational standards established by the Ministry of Training, Colleges, and Universities.
• Meet the standards established by the National Association of Career Colleges.
• Meet the standards established by the Ontario Community Support Association.
• Knowledge of procedures and techniques involved in administering simple treatments and related bedside care to residents.
• Must understand the basics of good sanitation and cleaning techniques and be knowledgeable with respect to the needs of geriatric residents.

Responsibilities
