Job summary

Service New Brunswick is seeking a Casual Clean Laundry Processor / Laundry Services Worker in Saint John to support Health Services Division. The position is called on an as-needed basis to cover vacations, sick leave, and temporary demand fluctuations.

Responsibilities include operating laundry equipment, sorting and recording laundry, delivering clean items, maintaining a safe work area, and providing excellent customer service while adhering to policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Physically demanding duties (bending, reaching, lifting).
• Written and spoken English proficiency required.
• Criminal History Clearance may be required prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

• Operate laundry equipment and unload/load carts.
• Sort, weigh, and record soiled laundry; dispose of bio-hazardous materials.
• Distribute clean laundry carts and load/unload laundry trucks.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area and adhere to procedures.
