Extendicare Mapleview Home in Sault Ste Marie, Ontario is seeking a Casual/On Call Housekeeping Aide. The role involves cleaning and sanitizing to create a safe living environment for residents and staff within a long-term care facility.

Qualifications

• Comfortable with heavy lifting, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching and moving equipment.
• Ability to work safely by following established safety practices and procedures.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening to be provided.

Responsibilities

• Provide housekeeping services in accordance with policies, procedures and work routines inside and outside the Long-Term Care facility.
• Use cleaning/disinfecting/sanitizing agents to maintain a clean and safe environment for residents and staff.
• Attend staff meetings, in-service education and mandatory training as assigned.
