Job summary

Cool Aid is hiring a Food Prep and Delivery Driver in Victoria, BC. You will deliver and serve meals, interact with tenants, and assist in food preparation while following strict food-safety practices.

The role supports a collaborative team in a modern kitchen, with shifts from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm, varied days, and union BCGEU membership. Casual position with competitive hourly wages.

Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in small or large quantity food service.
• Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clear driving abstract.
• Successful completion of a Criminal Record Check.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and serve meals at assigned buildings with attention to food safety and customer service.
• Assist with meal service and interact with tenants.
• Help with cooked and non-cooked food preparation as required.

The Food Prep and Delivery Driver works as part of a collaborative and dynamic team in a new, modern, well-equipped commercial kitchen. TheFood Prep and Delivery Driver is responsible for delivering and serving meals at assigned buildings with the utmost concern for food safe practices and customer service. This position also assists with service during meal times, interacts with the tenants, and helps with cooked and non-cooked food preparation where required.

Qualifications

Education

• Completed Grade 12

Experience

• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in small and large quantity food service environment

Requirements

• Class 5 Driver's Licence with a clear driver's abstract
• Successful completion of the Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General Criminal Record Check

Job Information

Hourly Wage Rate:$27.11 - $31.04.

• Plus 10.6% in lieu of vacation and stat time

Shift Time: 09:30 am to 5:30 pm.

Days of Work:Varied, per program needs.

Weekly Hours:Vary as per program needs.

Union:BCGEU.

Job Type:Casual.
