Job summary

The YMCA of Saskatoon is seeking a caring Casual Early Childhood Educator to support the Martensville Childcare Centre. This on-call role offers flexible hours within a supportive childcare team.

You will help provide a safe, welcoming environment, assist with daily programming and supervision, and support children and families through play-based learning and daily routines. Qualifications

• Early Childhood Education Level I preferred but not required.
• Experience with children in childcare, school, camp, or recreation setting is an asset.
• Valid First Aid and CPR-C is preferred or must be obtained.
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search is required.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible, dependable, and responsive to the needs of the centre.
• Commitment to creating an inclusive, respectful, and caring environment for children and families.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children, is available on a casual/on-call basis, and wants to be part of a supportive childcare team.
