Job summary

BrightPath Kids in Brampton, ON is seeking helpers for classroom support in a casual/supply role with no evenings or weekends. Competitive pay and a robust benefits package accompany this position within the Busy Bees childcare community.

As part of a diverse team, you will assist with instruction, help maintain a safe and clean classroom, and collaborate with families and staff to support young learners. Prior education credentials are preferred, including First Aid/CPR and immunization

Qualifications

• High School/Equivalent required; Early Childhood Assistant Certification or RECE
• Must meet province requirements for childcare employment
• Current Standard First Aid and infant child CPR
• Current immunization and health assessment as per local health requirements
• Experience in planning and implementing programs

Responsibilities

• Assisting with instruction in the classroom.
• Maintaining an environment that protects the well-being of children.
• Interacting with children to encourage their involvement in activities.
• Establishing collaborative relationships with co-workers, management, and families.
• Attending staff meetings and professional development opportunities as necessary.
• Working to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom materials.
• Other duties as assigned.
