Responsibilities

• H elps cook and servers collect and strip trays and tables for washing, clean and reset tables for next sitting.
• Loads, operates and empties dishwasher. Puts dishes away.
• Damp mops floors.
• Cleans other kitchen equipment such as blenders, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.
• Maintains general cleanliness of the dry goods storage area, walk-in fridge and freezer, receiving area by correct sweeping and mopping of floors, washing of walls and racks.
• Performs all duties in a clean and sanitary manner.
• Ensures that adequate standards of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained in food storage, and food service.
• Ensures availability and maintenance of dietary supplies and equipment and submits requisitions as necessary.
