Job summary

Riverstone Retirement Communities is seeking a Part Time Dishwasher for Stirling Park Retirement, with hours 5:00pm–9:00pm, 16 hours bi-weekly, at $17.60/hr. The role supports kitchen operations and resident comfort in a retirement setting.

Candidates should have a Safe Food Handler certificate and at least three years of experience, plus a team-oriented, adaptable mindset and a keen interest in working with seniors.

Responsibilities

• Helps cook and servers collect and strip trays and tables for washing, clean and reset tables for next sitting.
• Loads, operates and empties dishwasher. Puts dishes away.
• Damp mops floors.
• Cleans other kitchen equipment such as blenders, refrigerators, dishwashers, etc.
• Maintains general cleanliness of dry goods storage area, walk-in fridge and freezer, receiving area by sweeping and mopping.

FUNCTIONS:

• Maintains general cleanliness of the dry goods storage area, walk-in fridge and freezer, receiving area by correct sweeping and mopping of floors, washing of walls and racks;
• Performs all duties in a clean and sanitary manner;
• Ensures that adequate standards of cleanliness and sanitation are maintained in food storage, and food service;
• Ensures availability and maintenance of dietary supplies and equipment and submits requisitions as necessary.
