Job summary

qathet School District invites applications for on-call casual custodians to clean and maintain District facilities and ensure building security under the supervision of the Manager of Facilities.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning, basic maintenance, reporting safety issues, and adhering to WHMIS and OH&S guidelines. This CUPE L476 position offers an hourly wage of $29.46 plus vacation pay.

Qualifications

• Completion of Grade 12.
• Current WHMIS Certification.
• Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
• Knowledge of commercial building cleaning methods.
• Able to understand and effectively carry out oral and written instructions.
• Must be physically able to do all aspects of the job.
