Job summary

The Lodge in Fort Qu'Appelle, SK is seeking a responsible, mature cleaner to perform general cleaning duties. Under supervision of the Full-Time Cleaner and Administrative Supervisor, hours will fluctuate with a minimum of 24 hours per week.

Responsibilities include cleaning rooms and offices, dusting, disinfecting bathrooms, laundry responsibilities, recycling duties, floor care, and ensuring safety compliance and secure building access. Valid driver's license and background checks required.

Qualifications

• Experience using cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Background checks including Criminal Record Check and Vulnerable Sector Check required.
• Valid driver’s license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean rooms and offices.
• Dust, wipe and disinfect areas.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms.
• Replace light bulbs.
• Dust and sanitize furniture.
• Empty trash.
• Sort and manage recycling.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum floors.
• Lock and secure rooms.

The Lodge is seeking a responsible, mature and well organized individual who can do general cleaning duties. Under the supervision and general direction of the Full-Time Cleaner and Administrative Supervisor, this positions hours will fluctuate depending on need but have a minimum of 24 Hours weekly. General duties include, maintaining a safe building and overall cleanliness of the building such as:

• clean rooms and offices
• Dust and wipe and disinfect areas as required
• Clean and disinfect all bathrooms
• Replace light bulbs
• Dust and sanitize furniture
• Empty trash
• Manage & sort the recycling requirements such as bottles/cardboard, etc.
• Sweep, mop and vacuums floors
• Locking and securing rooms in the building
• Complete laundry and linen changes as required
• Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and locked safely and distribute to staff as required
• Overall maintaining compliance with the regulations of the Occupational Safety and Health Administration.
• Ensure that weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual, and annual cleaning lists are completed.
