Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited is hiring a part-time Security Officer to oversee security across the casino floor and ensure a safe, welcoming environment for guests and staff. You will help protect the company from theft and fraud while delivering excellent customer service, under provincial gaming regulations.

Responsibilities include responding to guest inquiries, monitoring alarms, controlling access to sensitive areas, and providing first aid when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a security role.
• Proven, high level of customer service.
• First Aid/CPR certification is required.
• Ability to obtain provincial gaming registration.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a presence on the gaming floor and respond to guest inquiries quickly.
• Control access to the facility and sensitive areas.
• Monitor alarms, control and issue keys.
• Write reports, maintain daily logs and conduct investigations.
• Provide First Aid and medical attention as required.
