Job summary

Gateway Casinos & Entertainment Limited in Ontario is seeking a part-time Security Officer to oversee guest and employee safety on the casino floor. You will deter theft, ensure compliance with gaming regulations, and maintain a welcoming, secure environment with a strong focus on customer service.

The role requires at least 6 months in security, First Aid/CPR, and ability to obtain Category 2 Gaming Assistant registration.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months experience in a security role.
• Current First Aid/CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain Category 2 Gaming Assistant registration.
• Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
• Comfort with surveillance equipment and computers.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and flexible hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a presence on the gaming floor and respond to guest inquiries quickly.
• Control access to the facility and sensitive areas.
• Monitor alarm panels, issue keys, and maintain logs.
• Write reports and conduct investigations as required.
• Provide First Aid and medical assistance as needed.
