Independent Grocers Alliance in Morin-Heights, Quebec, is seeking a part-time cashier supervisor. You will support day-to-day department operations, supervise a team and collaborate with the Department Manager on purchases, inventories and PLU management.

The role includes training staff and overseeing cash register processes and cash handling. The position offers a 24–36 hour workweek with day and evening shifts and on-site work at IGA Morin-Heights.

Formación

• Minimum experience as a cashier.
• Leads and motivates a team with supervision responsibilities.
• Open to learning about the role and procedures.

• Perform management activities within the department with the Department Manager.
• Collaborate on purchases, inventories, PLU lists and sales per hour targets for readiness.

What might a typical day look like?

As cashier supervisor, you will be expected to:

• perform various management activities within the department department in collaboration with the Department Manager;
• in collaboration with the department manager, ensure the management of purchases, inventories, P.L.U. price lists and respect the sales per hour/person in order to ensure business readiness;
• train, evaluate and motivate the members of his team and carry out the various operations related to the accounting of the cash registers (money transfer, deposits, controls, weekly verifications, etc.).
