Job summary

Independent Grocers Alliance in Dorval, QC is seeking a friendly part-time cashier to join our retail team. Shifts include Day and Evening hours with flexible scheduling to fit student and family commitments.

As a cashier, you will punch and/or scan merchandise, verify prices, handle cash and other payments, and balance the cash register according to established policies and productivity standards. We value teamwork, offer opportunities for skill development and advancement, and are happy to

• Punch and/or scan merchandise as selected by the customer
• Verify prices punched/scanned and make cancellations according to established standards
• Handle cash and media (debit cards, cheques, etc.) and make deposits according to established policies
• Ensure the balance of the cash register and meet productivity standards (sales/hours, punching/minute)
