Job summary

Compass Group Canada is seeking a Cashier to join our team. You will handle cash transactions, verify cash drawers, issue refunds, and complete cash reports, delivering friendly, service-oriented support to customers.

In this fast-paced role you will operate the register, resolve customer questions, contribute to inventory and cash-control procedures, and promote products while upholding sanitation and safety standards. This is part of our total rewards program and diverse workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform sales transactions in a timely fashion.
• Enter all sales into the cash register to ensure purchases are accurately recorded.
• Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer follows overage/shortage standards.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Make recommendations, cross-sell products and introduce new ones.

Job description

Final compensation will be determined based on relevant skills, experience, qualifications, and internal equity. How You Will Make An Impact

As a Cashier, You Will
