Job summary

Compass Group Canada in Vancouver is seeking a front-line Cashier to handle sales, cash transactions, and refunds with a focus on accurate recording and friendly service.

You will interact with customers, resolve issues, and support cash control procedures while maintaining sanitation and safety standards. Prior cash handling or register experience is preferred and you should be a team player with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow standard procedures for issuing cash refunds.
• Interact with customers and resolve customer complaints in a friendly, service-oriented manner.
• Responsible for all assigned change funds and cash receipts ensuring that cash drawer follows overage/shortage standards.
• Ensure compliance with company service standards and inventory and cash control procedures.
• Ensure compliance with all sanitation and safety requirements.
• Make recommendations, cross-sell products and introduce new ones.

How you will make an impact:
