Job summary

Farm Boy Inc. is seeking a friendly associate to help create a welcoming shopping experience. You’ll greet customers, assist with purchases, process transactions, and support store operations with a customer-first mindset.

Role requires attention to detail, effective communication, and flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. English fluency is essential; French is an asset. Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain is required for alcohol locations.

Qualifications

  • Customer service experience is valued; an education/experience mix is acceptable.
  • For alcohol locations: Smart Serve certification or willingness to obtain.
  • Ability to work independently with attention to detail and quality.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
  • Fast-paced environment with deadlines; physical tasks, standing, lifting.
  • English fluency; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide warm, confident customer service and assist with purchases.
  • Process transactions accurately and balance tills as needed.
  • Answer calls and support daily store operations.
  • Assist customers with product information and questions.
  • Support alcohol sales where applicable and follow policies.
