Job summary

Princess Auto Ltd. in Newmarket, ON is seeking a part-time cashier to join our Retail team. You will help create a fun, safe and unique shopping experience at the checkout or customer service desk, handling transactions and responding to customer inquiries.

You will balance your cash drawer at the end of each shift, maintain a tidy front area, and work calmly with customers and teammates to deliver our Royal Service standard.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills and attention to detail.
• Customer service experience or aptitude.
• Ability to interact with customers diplomatically.
• Works well with minimal supervision and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Process transactions at the checkout and customer service desk.

As a Cashier at Princess Auto you will help create a fun, safe and unique shopping experience for our customers. We call it Royal Service. You are an important part of our team’s success as you will often be the first or last person to interact with a customer. You will typically spend your day working at the checkout or customer service desk processing transactions, responding to customer inquiries in person and over the phone, keeping the front of the store tidy and balancing your cash drawer at the end of your shift.
