Job Requirements

Minimum Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Tasks

• Operate cash register
• Process payments via cash, cheques, and credit/debit cards
• Scan items and receive payment for goods or services
• Calculate and reconcile daily/shift payments with total sales
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean counter area
• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
• Monitor entrances and exits, requesting proof of payment when necessary
• Participate in promotional activities
• Verify customer age when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products
