Summary:

• Maintain excellent customer service and keep the checkout area organized.

Responsibilities:

Customer Service:

• Provide excellent customer service and engage positively with customers.
• Greet customers warmly and maintain a neat checkout area.
• Accurately scan or enter product data and handle cash, coupons, lottery, and PC Optimum transactions.
• Ask for the PC Optimum Card during each transaction.

Merchandising:

• Complete proper documentation for receipts and returns.
• Maintain merchandising standards in designated areas.

Loss Prevention:

• Follow loss prevention standards.
• Control cash, lottery, and stamp inventories.

General:

• Present a professional image in accordance with store policies.
• Follow health, safety, and store policies and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and store image standards.
• Perform other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• Good planning, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to balance teamwork and efficiency.
• Organized and neat.
• Efficient in processing customer transactions.

Experience:

• Strong computer and register skills.
• Well-organized with good record-keeping abilities.
