Job summary

SAIT’s School of Hospitality and Tourism is hiring two cashiers to provide efficient and friendly service in a fast-paced environment on campus in Calgary. The positions are paid at an hourly rate of $18.68 and include duties related to guest service, accurate transactions, and menu knowledge.

Successful applicants will support food and beverage service while following all policies and procedures and contributing to a positive guest experience on campus.

Responsibilities

• Provide our guests with efficient, friendly and professional food and beverage service while following all policies and procedures.
• Be familiar with menu items and ingredients to answer guest questions and suggest options to accommodate allergies and preferences.
• Ensure high standards of service and help maintain smooth operation during shifts.

To provide our guests with e ffi cient, friendly and professional food and beverage service while following all policies and procedures of SAIT. This position will be well informed of menu items and ingredients, as well as, preparation methods. It is important to be familiar with the ingredients to ensure a quick response to guest questions, as well as, be better prepared to o ff er suggestions to accommodate allergies and preferences.
