Launch your hospitality career with our Young Professionals Program! This two-year, full-time opportunity is designed for emerging hospitality professionals eager to build their expertise in one of Canada's leading hospitality learning environments. Working in Highwood Kitchen & Bar, you'll gain hands-on experience while collaborating with industry leaders, faculty, students, and partners.
Reporting to the Restaurant Operations Outlet Supervisor (or Academic Chair), you'll deliver exceptional guest experiences, support special events, and contribute to a dynamic live-learning environment. Beyond restaurant service, you'll model industry-leading hospitality standards, help support student learning through coaching and demonstration, and gain valuable exposure to restaurant operations, events, and hospitality leadership.
This role offers a unique blend of commercial restaurant experience and applied education, providing an accelerated pathway for professional growth.
*Please note work schedules are developed several weeks in advance and may include a combination of five-day work weeks and compressed work schedules (e.g., four 10-hour shifts), depending on operational requirements. Evening and weekend work is required to support restaurant operations and events.
