Job summary

Pursuit's Columbia Icefield location in Jasper National Park seeks a detail‑driven Cash Control specialist for a Spring/Summer seasonal, on‑site role. You will manage daily cash reconciliations across outlets, handle deposits, and ensure accuracy against sales reports while coordinating with Banff Cash Control.

You’ll need prior cash handling, POS experience, and comfort with working in a remote, social environment. On‑site housing and meals are provided.

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role. Based at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, this on‑site living role places you 100 km from Jasper and surrounded by stunning glacier views and endless mountain adventure. You’ll be part of a destination that includes the Glacier View Lodge, dining outlets, retail, and the world‑famous Glacier Adventure and Skywalk. Staff live on‑site with accommodations and three hot meals per day.

$20/day housing and meals End‑of‑season retention bonus up to $1.00/hr

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Reconciliation of daily cash outs for all lines of business at the Columbia Icefield
• Ticket Sales, multiple Food & Beverage Outlets, Retail – verifying against reports from multiple sales systems and processors
• Preparation of daily deposits and tip outs
• Troubleshooting transactions, discrepancies and correcting any errors while also reporting variances and abnormalities
• Auditing cash, credit card and billing transactions and verifying group orders to ensure accuracy
• Corresponding with Banff Cash Control and Wholesalers to supply receipts and billing/audit reports
• Preparation of financial reports and creating accurate and up to date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting procedures
• Managing float inventories in safe and cash recycler
• Coaching Food & Beverage teams on transactions and cash out procedures
• Coaching the Guest Experience Team through transactions and voucher redemption
• Other duties as assigned

REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS

• Organization and time management skills are a must, but a passion for making a difference for each guest and employee is the most important aspect of this position!
• Administrative skills including proficient use of Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
• Experience with RTP, Simphony, Retail Pro, Eigen and CI server for cash recycler an asset
• Previous cash handling and point of sale system experience, an asset
• Accounting experience is an asset
• Proven strength in problem solving, attention to detail and ability to make decisions independently and with a positive attitude
• Must get excited at the idea of living and working in a remote (yet very social) environment
• Mature, energetic, dependable and self‑motivated
• Exceptional public relations skills and a team‑play oriented mindset
• Enjoy working with a team in a busy, fast‑paced environment
• Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards
• To honour our commitment to be "Always Honest" all employees must consent to a criminal record check
• Standard First‑Aid or higher an asset

The starting wage for this role is $20.00/hour.
