Job summary

Pursuit Collection is hiring a Retail Associate for the Columbia Icefield Jasper area. This on-site, full-time seasonal role is based at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, offering on-site living with accommodations and three meals daily.

Starting wage is $18.00/hour, with potential end-of-season retention bonus. Housing and meals are provided; staff live on-site near Glacier View Lodge and attractions.

• Must be excited at the idea of living and working in a remote environment.
• Previous guest service and cash handling experience an asset.
• Guest service-oriented mindset and a passion for delivering memorable experiences.
• Speaks second language, an asset.
• Mature, energetic, dependable and self-motivated.
• Enjoy working with a diverse team in a busy, fast-paced environment.
• Must meet the Organization grooming and appearance standards.
• To honour our commitment to be "Always Honest" all employees must consent to a criminal record check.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the sales of souvenirs, clothing, and jewelry
• Assist as needed in the Photo Department
• Uphold our high standards of service, merchandising, and display
• Operate the point of sale system with accuracy and efficiency, the responsible handling of cash, credit cards, and cash out forms
• Keep the sales floor and storage areas clean and organized
• Communicate with co-workers and management, forward observations and comments in a timely fashion
• Apply upselling and cross selling techniques to maximize the potential of staff incentives
• Collect feedback forms from customers, answering the phone, facilitating efficient inventory management and movement
• Uphold the high standard of environmental stewardship expected for all employees
• Other duties as assigned

This job is posted as part of our seasonal hiring for Spring/Summer, 2026, it will be a full time seasonal role. Based at the remote Columbia Icefield in Jasper National Park, this on‑site living role places you 100 km from Jasper and surrounded by stunning glacier views and endless mountain adventure. You’ll be part of a destination that includes the Glacier View Lodge, dining outlets, retail, and the world‑famous Glacier Adventure and Skywalk. Staff live on‑site with accommodations and three hot meals per day. $20/day housing and meals. End‑of‑season retention bonus up to $ .50/hr.
