Job summary

TF Energy Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Cash Application Clerk in Calgary, AB to cover up to 18 months of maternity leave. The role emphasizes prompt and accurate posting of cash receipts, reconciliations, and collaboration with the Accounts Receivable team in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate will have Grade 12 or equivalent, cash application and payroll experience, excellent data entry and strong Excel skills, and the ability to multi-task.

Qualifications

• Minimum of grade 12 or equivalent.
• Past experience in cash application and payroll.
• Strong technical skills with proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent data entry skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensuring prompt and accurate posting of cash receipts (credit card, EFT, wires and cheques).
• Research and follow-up with customers to obtain all the necessary information required to conclude any payment discrepancies.
• Manage unapplied cash reporting and reconciliation.
• Notifying and working with all company internal stakeholders on any discrepancies and resolve accordingly.
• Communicating on a regular basis with Accounts Receivable team members on cash application issues that may impact the weekly reporting.
