Good Shepherd Centres in Ontario seeks a Receptionist for Dorothy Day Place to warmly greet visitors, manage calls, bookings and donations, and provide clerical support in a feminist, anti-oppression framework.
The role requires related field education and prior administrative experience; proficiency with Word, Excel and Outlook; ability to maintain confidentiality within a trauma-informed, inclusive environment, including trans/non-binary contexts.
Monday to Friday rotation of days and afternoon shift

The Dorothy Day Place Receptionist enhances the dignity and quality of life of our service users, visitors, managers and staff by providing respectful, efficient and timely services. The Receptionist will greet people, direct visitors to appropriate person or service, answer and forward telephone calls, take messages, schedule appointments and perform other clerical duties. To provide service in a dignified and respectful manner that integrates feminist, anti-oppression/anti-racism, and trauma frameworks.
