Handyman Connection of Kitchener & Brantford, ON is seeking an experienced tradesperson with cabinetry and millwork skills to join our team. This role covers residential and light commercial projects, including cutting, shaping, and installing materials.

You will work with wood, plywood, laminates, and wallboard and repair doors, drawers, hinges, and countertops. Applicants should have their own tools and vehicle, a valid driver’s license and insurance, and reliable smartphone access.

Qualifications

• Competency in residential and commercial cabinetry and millwork.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.

Responsibilities

• Cut, shape, and install building materials during construction, remodeling, or repair in residential and light commercial settings.
• Regularly work with fixtures of wood, plywood, laminates, and wallboard.
• Repair doors, drawer slides, hinges, drawer boxes, and countertops.
• Determine and clearly identify proper materials and material quantities for new and existing projects.
• Evaluate customer requests, price projects, troubleshoot customer issues, and present a description of a work order to a customer.
