Job summary

FWS Group of Companies is hiring Carpenters for a project site in Northern BC to join our collaborative and team-focused organization. You will provide support to the department and Superintendent, working on concrete formwork and reading drawings to build to specifications.

We offer RRSPs, benefits, professional training, and opportunities for growth. A 21/7 work rotation with time away from home is required, along with owning basic trade tools and a valid driver’s license, and pre-access

Qualifications

• Proficient knowledge of concrete formwork and falsework, reinforcing, placing and finishing.
• Read and interpret construction drawings and build to drawings and specs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; own basic trade tools.
• Available to work a 21/7 rotation with extended time away from home; pre-access drug/alcohol testing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the department and Superintendent.
• Supervise labourers and resources as required.
