Job summary

FWS Group of Companies is seeking Carpenters for a project site in Northern BC. The role focuses on concrete formwork, falsework, reinforcing, placement and finishing, with strict adherence to drawings and specifications.

You will safely operate equipment and supervise labourers to ensure on-time project delivery. Applicants should have carpentry experience or be enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program, possess a valid driver’s license, and be prepared for a 21/7 rotation with extended time away

As our Carpenter, you will provide support to the department and Superintendent.

Position Overview:

• Proficient knowledge of concrete formwork and falsework, reinforcing, placing, and finishing.
• Read and understand construction drawings and be able to build to drawings and specifications.
• Responsible for safe use of equipment including forklift, skid steer loader, scissor lifts, and power tools .
• Supervise labourers and resources as required.

Qualifications Needed:

• Appropriate level of carpentry experience or enrolled in an Apprenticeship Program.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle are required.
• Must be able to work a 21/7 work rotation with extended time away from home.
• Own and maintain basic trade tools.
• Pre-access Drug & Alcohol testing may be required due to client requirements.
