Job summary

Bond Industries in Surrey BC is seeking a Production Worker - Carpenter to join our team. The role reports to the Millwork Production Manager and involves skilled labour, material handling, tool work and assembly for custom fixtures.

This full-time position is at our Campbell Heights facility in Surrey, with a 6:00AM to 2:30PM Monday–Friday shift. Ideal candidates have carpentry training or apprenticeship hours, 3-5 years of woodworking experience, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Post secondary training or apprenticeship hours in carpentry.
• 3-5 years of woodworking experience.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds (23kg).
• Good verbal communications skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and setup machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing.
• Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently (saws, milling, sanding).
• Ensure that products meet project specifications, making adjustments as necessary.
• Read and interpret basic drawings or production instructions.
• Assemble products according to specifications.
• Maintain company's quality, safety, and productivity standards.
• Lift and move materials up to 50 lbs (23kg).
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or management.

ROLE SUMMARY

Reporting to the Millwork Production Manager, the Production Worker - Carpenter performs skilled labour, material handling, tool work and assembly duties involved in the manufacture of custom retail fixtures. This is a full-time position at our facility in Campbell Heights, Surrey BC.

Shift will be 6:00AM to 2:30PM Monday to Friday

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and setup machines and tooling for woodwork manufacturing
• Operate woodworking machines including saws, milling and sanding machines safely and efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
