The Shaw Group Limited is seeking motivated Carpenter candidates for indoor production roles in a fast-paced environment. We offer a 4-day work week with guaranteed full-time hours, strong team culture, and opportunities from apprentice to Red Seal Carpenter.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in carpentry.
• Block 1 (or more) of Carpentry and/or Red Seal certification.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints/drawings.
• Commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood components.
• Construct and install interior structural elements and finish components.
• Operate hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Ensure work meets building codes, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with team to meet production schedules and goals.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

What you will need:

• Strong understanding of carpentry methods, materials, and tools
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings/plans
• Commitment to workplace health and safety
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Reliable attendance and positive work ethic
• 2+ years experience working within carpentry
• Block 1 (or more) of Carpentry and/or Red Seal certification
