Job summary

Golderado Contracting Corp is hiring Carpenter Apprentices for project sites in Alberta. You will read and interpret technical guides, drawings and specifications, and use carpentry tools safely to build quality structures.

Hours are project dependent with a minimum 40 hours per week and overtime during busy season; pay is hourly and based on experience. Benefits include health benefits, pension plan, RRSP matching and vacation pay.

Key Information:

Experience and Certification Requirements:

• Carpentry Apprenticeship or equivalent is required.
• CSTS 2020, and WHMIS 2015 are required.
• Fall Protection & Rescue, Aerial Platform, Confined Spaces, Rigging/Hoisting and Hand. Signals, and First Aid/CPR certification would be an asset.
• Proficient English Language skills required.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.

Education:

Carpentry Apprenticeship or equivalent is required.
